# Compound Strategies

These strategies combine two or more actions into one transaction.

### Deposit & Borrow <a href="#h_816bf2b5a0" id="h_816bf2b5a0"></a>

This function combines two functions; this will deposit an asset from the DSA balance into the protocol and will also borrow an asset. The borrowed asset will be in your DSA balance.

**Deposit & Borrow Example --**

In the top line you can select the collateral you would like to deposit

In the lower line you enter what you would like to borrow

You can change the asset type by clicking the asset icons

Submit the transaction by clicking the button at the bottom

After the transaction confirms you will see both the collateral deposit and the debt owed to the protocol.&#x20;
